3 new bluetooth marketing products and 2 new services being released!

New Products:
ProxiBlaster is pleased to announce we are in the final stages of releasing our new products and services. Due to customer demand for a portable and wireless version of our Bluetooth advertising server we are releasing 2 new products called PortaBlue, these products possess all of the same features as our popular BlueCastBox with the only difference being that they have different broadcast ranges.
We are also releasing a new Embedded Dongle, this new product is a bluetooth transmitter with our software embedded in it. Simply connect it to an XP computer USB port and you have an instant broadcast point. This new plug and play technology was created for the digital sign industry but can be used on any XP SP2 computer.

New Services:

SMS Text Messaging
ProxiBlaster is proud to announce we have incorporated SMS messaging into our control panel to integrate text messaging into your Bluetooth Campaigns, this new SMS gateway allows for true two way communication starting with Bluetooth and ending in SMS AND the users phone number is captured in the control panel reports for later use!

Website API
We now have an API to integrate our reports and services into your website for one stop client management! ProxiBlaster can be totally invisible and you can manage your customers locally on your website!

Due to the success of our BlueCastBox product we have decided to discontinue our software products and focus on our hardware products. We will continue to support our software products already in the field however we will not be selling these products. Instead look for us to be introducing some new and exciting products in the coming months that will revolutionize bluetooth advertising as we know it!

Several new features have been added to the control panel for our flagship BlueCastBox bluetooth advertising server. The new wifi version of the BlueCastBox is now in beta testing with an expected production release date of 07/01/08 . Bluetooth marketing has now become affordable and easy with our simple control panel approach and our cost effective BlueCastBox bluetooth marketing servers.

Current Bluetooth Advertising News: While we have been receiving a lot of inquiries for the standalone very small solar powered bluetooth advertising server, we are currently in a holding pattern on this project as we work diligently with the hardware manufacturers to define a robust platform.
In other bluetooth advertising news we are working on the multiple dongle version of our software products and should be releasing beta tests around 04/07/2008 .
We have also updated the control panel to allow downloads of raw data, better scheduling features and the ability to change the broadcasting server name all through our web based control panel!

The new network version of ProxiBlaster is now released for purchase , interested parties should download the demo from the purchase page or go ahead and purchase the software . Please note the demo software does not include the needed id and password to access the web based control panel , you will need to purchase the software to receive the id and passwords to setup network communication .

UPDATE BETA 1.00 RELEASED !
ProxiBlaster beta 1.00 has been officially released ! ProxiBlaster requires Windows XP SP2 with Microsoft Bluetooth Drivers (included in service pack 2) . If you have other drivers you can uninstall them and run most dongles on the Microsoft drivers , see the FAQ page about how to enable the Microsoft drivers .

UPDATE In our rigorous testing we have uncovered some fairly difficult problems with the widcomm bluetooth api stack , we are currently working through those issues however we are postponing launch yet again . We are now expecting launch for October 23 . However to make this date we may drop the widcomm stack altogether , what does this mean ? Users will be required to use dongles under the microsoft API . Even dongles that come with widcomm drivers usually can be run under the microsoft stack . See our faq for more information about how to use the built in microsoft bluetooth api .

Proxiblaster is still in development at this moment going through rigorous testing to insure it is a reliable part of your advertising arsenal ! We expect to release the 1.1 version of the Proxiblaster bluetooth proximity adverstising software to be released on or near October 17 2007 . If you would like to receive an email notification upon release of the software please use the contact link in the menu .

Unfortuneately we have discovered a few minor issues that are delaying the launch a few days , the revised launch date is now Oct 17 . However we are now looking for beta testers of the software , please use the support page to get on the beta tester list .
