Do you offer branding or reselling of your products?
Yes our networked product control panels are branded with your logo and we are invisible to your clients. We offer a 3 tiered control panel login with a special reports only login for your end clients under your brand. You can even offer access for your clients to control their own campaigns. We provide access to one of our servers with generic domain name and address like http://yourcompany.blueadnetwork.com . We also have an API which allows you to provide your clients with a login and reports directly on your own website.
Our business model is based around selling our hardware and technology to clients that value add to our products by creating the broadcast content and managing the campaigns then leasing this end to end service to their own client base. Typically we sell to advertising agencies and marketing companies that have the client base and the creative design capabilities to provide these value add services.
Do you offer an API for integrating your technology into my website?
Yes we do, however the api is only for providing a login and reporting to your clients, the api does not provide management functions.
Will ProxiBlaster work with all cell phones ?
No , Proxiblaster is designed to work with bluetooth enabled cell phones that are discoverable and have a file transport service enabled in the cell phone software . In our tests here in the USA on average 27% of cell phones have the ability to receive what ProxiBlaster is sending . The remaining cell phones either have the bluetooth turned off (undiscoverable) or do not have a file transport service installed in the cell phone operating system . Many phones will work , however some carriers (Verizon, Sprint, Nextel) will cripple bluetooth on their phones and the phone can only receive vcards, for this reason we always recommend sending a vcard as your first file and follow it with an image file so these crippled devices will recieve the vcard at the very least. This is important as it will dramatically increase the amount of phones receiving your data.
Will ProxiBlaster Products work with BlackBerry Phones?
YES ALL ProxiBlaster Products now work with Blackberry phones !
Blackberry phones are unique though, and require several steps to recieve a file via bluetooth
First you must go to "settings" and select "bluetooth settings" to turn on bluetooth and set it to "visible"
To receive a file via bluetooth follow these instructions:
Step 1: Blackberry phones demand a pairing code, this is always 0000 (4 zeros) which is the international standard pairing code
Step 2 Select the "media icon"
Step 3 Select "photos or pictures"
Step 4 Select "device memory"
Step 5 Select "receive via bluetooth"
Now you will see a screen that says " waiting for file transfer" your blackberry is now ready to receive a file(s) from any of our Bluetooth advertising products.
Where I can download updates for Microsoft® Windows® XP?
You can download that upgrade from the following link.
Can ProxiBlaster use more than one dongle ?
Unfortunately no ,to achieve stability across all of our products we use the microsoft bluetooth api for all of our products including the bluecastbox and the Microsoft bluetooth stack does not support multiple dongles .
What kind of files can ProxiBlaster send ?
ProxiBlaster can send pretty much anything .A better question is what can phones receive ? Most phones will readily receive a vcard file , this is almost universal of bluetooth phones . You can easily create a vcard using Microsoft Outlook to create a contact , complete with a picture and use the save as function to save it as a vcard . Another popular format is gif files , the key here is that gif images can be animated to be attractive advertisments . Keep in mind though that an animated gif will run much slower on a cell phone than it does on your computer . You need to keep the file small and simple so the variety of cell phones you will send it to will be able to process it and show it well to the intended user . Some phones have the ability to receive and view video (3GP files) and MP3 music files too, again what you send depends on your market strategy and who you are trying to connect with , but rest assured , ProxiBlaster can handle it !
How do I purchase ProxiBlaster ?
We offer all of our products for sale on this website, simply go through the purchase process and our website will automatically calculate the shipping costs. Yes we do ship internationally and offer several differnet payment methods, from PayPal and credit cards both online and over the phone to checks and bank wire transfers. Just select the appropriate payment option as you go through the purchase process on our website.
Why does my phone ask for a pin code ?
Unfortunately certain phones will invariably demand a pin code and reject the automatic authentication from ProxiBlaster . Among these phones are :
- Blackberry Phones
- LG CU400
- Samsung (several models)
Certainly there are more phones that will demand a pin code , however these are phones we have tested and we cannot stop the phone from demanding a pin code as this is occuring within the phone's operating system . In most cases if the user enters the pin code ProxiBlaster will send a "pairing completed" signal and continue with a file broadcast to the device. Occassionaly ProxiBlaster will ignore phones that demand a pin in this fashion or will timeout waiting for a response from the device as the device did not respond with an appropriate code. Either way ProxiBlaster will continue past these troubled phones and keep broadcasting your message to phones with more friendly characteristics !
